Alice PLast Thursday I stopped by to visit, as I lived down the street when I was a kid. The iron shutters were shut, and I feared that the shop may have retired/closed down.
Today (Weds) I stopped by around 1pm, and the shop was open!! I was overjoyed. The layout is still the same. The types of snacks sold are still the classics. The eggs are still near the counter. The boss is still there (but I cannot remember if it’s the same boss). I purchased some snacks and a drink, and was very happy. I hope this shop continues to thrive. Thank you for letting me re-live a childhood memory.
小時候就坐到大連北街， 常常來這一家雜貨店。 上個星期四沒有開，鐵門關著，就以為雜貨店有可能關門了。 這禮拜三來的時候店開門了，我非常高興！！ 裡面都還是一樣。蛋也放在櫃檯附近。 我記不得老闆是不是同樣一位，可是希望這家店一直永久持續下去。謝謝你讓我回意童年的真貴記憶。
